REVIEW OF SOBE LIFEWATER FUJI APPLE PEAR

CAFFEINE CONTENT: NO CAFFEINE.

RATING: 6 OUT OF 10.

During the last couple of days, I have been trying, almost unsuccessfully, to get rid of my caffeine addiction. So I thought it would be a good idea to review a drink with no caffeine: Sobe Lifewater Fuji Apple Pear. Believe it or not, I denied that I had a caffeine addiction. However, on Saturday I tried to go one whole day without drinking caffeine. I was extremely sluggish but I wasn't really craving a cup of coffee. I also had an extremely mild headache which was easily ignored. I actually would have done it, but I accidentally failed by getting a Cherry Coca-Cola at Burger King along with my Double Cheeseburger and Fries. It appears to me that my caffeine detoxification from April 1 to April 12 is going to be quite the challenge. Needless to say, I completely digress, unto the review. This drink tasted exactly like it sounds. Upon my first sip, I immediately detected pear and apple flavors. The actual flavor is Fuji Apple Pear and they could not be more accurate. Sobe Lifewater Fuji Apple Pear is not an energy drink but it does fall under the category of functional beverage. The main ingredients in Sobe Lifewater Fuji Apple Pear are Citrimax, a plant extract from the South Asian fruit Garcina Cambogia, and Panax Ginseng Root Extract. It also has 25 percent daily value of niacin, 25 percent daily value of vitamin b6, 25 percent daily value of vitamin b12, 25 percent daily value of pantothenic acid, and 87.5 percent daily value of chromium. Not to mention there is l-carnitine, 250 percent daily value of vitamin c, and 50 percent daily value of vitamin e. It is zero calorie and sweetened with Pure Via Reb-A. The drink didn't really give me a boost of energy but it just isn't made for that. It's made to taste good, and to give you some vitamins and herbal stimulants. Rating? 6 out of 10. Brownie points to South Beach Beverage Company for not using Aspartame, Sucralose, or Acesulfame Potassium as your sweetener.
