REVIEW OF RED BULL ENERGY SHOT

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 80 MILLIGRAMS PER 2 OUNCE BOTTLE.

RATING: 7.5 OUT OF 10.

Well it is Halloween once again and the energy shot I am going to review is Red Bull Energy Shot. Red Bull Energy Shot is a fairly new shot and hopefully it will do good in the taste and kick portion of this review. I took a shot glass from the cabinet and poured half the bottle in. This drink comes out a nice caramel color and the taste is actually quite splendid. It tasted like non-carbonated Red Bull so it is that delicious apple flavor that you are so familiar with. I detected no medicinal or bitter aftertaste at all. After I initially tasted it, I poured the rest of the bottle in the glass and slammed away. Overall this shot really outdid itself in the taste category. Well done Red Bull. As for the kick I didn't feel a whole lot from Red Bull. The energy ingredients are 80 milligrams of caffeine, 1,000 milligrams of taurine, glucuronolactone, and b vitamins. I would say that the kick is definitely better than the canned Red Bull but it is not nearly as good as 5 Hour Energy in my opinion. But then again, 5 Hour Energy has 58 more milligrams of caffeine than Red Bull Energy Shot and as a matter of fact, Red Bull Energy Shot has the lowest amount of caffeine in any 2 ounce shot so that is saying something. This drink will definitely sell because it is made by the market leader in energy drinks. To conclude, I am going to give Red Bull Energy Shot a rating of 7.5 out of 10. It is a good idea, but it would be nice if Red Bull stepped up to the plate and created a shot with more caffeine.

REVIEW OF VENOM DEATH ADDER

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 165 MILLIGRAMS PER 16.9 OUNCE BOTTLE.

RATING: 7.4 OUT OF 10

So, it looks like this is the Fruit Punch version of Venom Energy Drink. Venom Death Adder comes in a nice orange and black aluminum bottle that is extremely tough. This bottle pays attention to details such as the scales around the snakes eye. When I opened the bottle I got a whiff of artificial fruit punch and an energy drink smell. When I tasted it, I got a mix between either Red Bull and fruit punch or Monster and fruit punch. So, I guess you could say that it is a combination of Red Bull, Monster, and fruit punch. Just for kicks I decided to look at the ingredients to see if any juices were used. There weren't any juices to speak of. This has the same blend that all of the Venom's have: 1.7 milligrams of riboflavin, 20 milligrams of niacin, 2 milligrams of vitamin b6, 6 micrograms of vitamin b12, 200 milligrams of ginseng extract, and a 3,000 milligram energy blend consisting of taurine, l-carnitine, caffeine, guarana, inositol, glucuronolactone, and maltodextrin. So, this drink didn't really do a whole lot to me. I mean, it kept me awake through my first hour but by fourth hour I crashed. And I don't know about you but crashing from an energy drink is actually pretty rare for me. So, to conclude I am going to give Venom Death Adder a rating of 7.4 out of 10 because of its fine taste.

REVIEW OF FULL THROTTLE BLUE DEMON

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 141 MILLIGRAMS PER 16 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 7.9 OUT OF 10.

So this is the blue agave flavor of Full Throttle Energy Drink. I think I will start by pointing out that there is no agave in this drink at all. It just good, fake, agave flavor. When I poured this drink in a cup, I noticed it was a lovely blue color with a very slight purple tint. This drink has a classic sweet tart taste that is similar to most energy drinks. It is very sweet and has a sour bite to it as well. Full Throttle has a 3,000 milligram energy blend consisting of guarana extract, ginseng extract, caffeine, taurine, and a couple other ingredients as well as a nice amount of b vitamins. The caffeine content is 141 milligrams per 16 ounce can. The kick this thing gives off is also pretty good. It works fast and does a nice job keeping you alert through a boring session of speed shopping. The kick lasts about 3 hours and 30 minutes which is average. Overall, I will give Full Throttle Blue Demon a rating of 7.9 out of 10. And since this review is quite short, I will tell you what drinks I will be reviewing in the future. Well, tomorrow I am going to review Venom Death Adder and if I ever get samples I will be reviewing Slap and Go Fast.

REVIEW OF VENOM MOJAVE RATTLER

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 165 MILLIGRAMS PER 16.9 OUNCE BOTTLE.

RATING: 7.8 OUT OF 10.

So, this is the low carbohydrate version of Venom Energy Drink. Venom Mojave Rattler comes in a sturdy 16.9 ounce aluminum bottle. The color that comes out of the bottle is a amber red color that differs slightly from Red Bull, Monster and Rockstar. As you can see I took a picture of the bottle and the color inside the bottle. Unfortunately, the glass was very reflective so it is kind of hard to see. Anyway, Venom Mojave Rattler tasted like Monster Lo-Carb but with a slight twist. I wasn't sure what the twist was but it could have been the hint of apple. So, Venom Mojave Rattler has 1.7 milligrams of riboflavin, 20 milligrams of niacin, 2 milligrams of vitamin b6, 6 micrograms of vitamin b12, 200 milligrams of ginseng extract, and a 3,000 milligram energy blend consisting of taurine, l-carnitine, caffeine, gaurana, inositol, glucuronolactone, and maltodextrin. The caffeine content is 165 milligrams per 16.9 ounce bottle. The kick is better than the original but that was probably because I drank it faster. The kick took a while to kick in but when it did it wasn't bad. I can still feel it after about 2 hours which is not bad. The kick should last around 3 hours or so. Ok, time to give this drink a rating. 7.8 out of 10.

REVIEW OF VENOM BLACK MAMBA

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 165 MILLIGRAMS PER 16.9 OUNCE BOTTLE.

RATING: 6.3 OUT OF 10.

So, for my 90th review, I will review Venom Black Mamba. Venom is made by Dr. Pepper Seven Up and it comes in a sturdy, red and black, 16.9 ounce bottle. Actually, it's more of a bottle and can mixed together. As far as taste, Venom is a Red Bull Clone but different in a way. Perhaps it is because it is more gummy, or maybe more sweet. It also has a very strong smell to it which reminded me of a cherry sucker or cherry candy. The color is the same amber color you get with Monster or Red Bull. So, before we can go to the kick, what's in this thing? Well, it has 1.7 milligrams of riboflavin, 20 milligrams of niacin, 2 milligrams of vitamin b6, 6 micrograms of vitamin b12, 200 milligrams of ginseng extract, and a 3,000 milligram energy blend consisting of taurine, l-carnitine, caffeine, guarana, inositol, glucurononlactone, and maltodextrin. Caffeine content is rated at 165 milligrams per 16.9 ounce can. As for the kick, well there wasn't much of one. I got a decent kick that lasted for about 90 minutes and then I crashed. I don't know about you, but crashing over an energy drink is pretty rare for me. Perhaps it is because of the 59 grams of sugar but I doubt it. Anyway, to conclude I will give Venom Black Mamba a rating of 6.3 out of 10 because the taste wasn't too bad but the kick let me down.

REVIEW OF CELSIUS SPARKLING WILD BERRY

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 200 MILLIGRAMS PER 12 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 9.6 OUT OF 10!

A couple days ago, I got these for free from my dad who gets them for free at his work. Celsius is an energy drink designed to burn up to 100 calories per can. But don't think about drinking more than 2 of these a day as it has 200 milligrams of caffeine in a 12 ounce can. Right on the can it says "Tastes Great" so I had high expectations. I wouldn't say the drink tasted amazing but it did taste pretty good. The flavor is best described as a unique wild berry flavor. I am not sure what berries I was tasting but that doesn't really matter. What does matter is that it tasted good. So, Celsius Sparkling Wild Berry has a 1,810 milligram energy blend consisting of taurine, guarana extract, green tea extract, caffeine anhydrous, glucuronolactone, and ginger extract. It has 200 milligrams of caffeine per 12 ounce can. As far as the kick, well let's just say I was pretty focused, alert, and hyper for a long time. It starts out having no kick but when it kicks in gear, oh man! This drink is amazing. It tasted pretty good, has a good energy blend, and has a great, great kick. This drink is definitely going on my Elite Energy Drink list. 9.6 out of 10!!!

REVIEW OF XS PEACH TEA BLAST

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 83 MILLIGRAMS PER 8.3 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 7.7 OUT OF 10.

I have always wanted to know one question about XS. Is it possible for them to make a drink that doesn't taste delicious? Actually yes it is. Enter XS Peach Tea Blast. It's a blend of white, green, and black teas. I will say that it did not taste very good but you have to realize that taste is subjective. I also thought that it was bitter. So, I didn't like the taste of XS Peach Tea Blast, but what is in it? Well you basically have 83 milligrams of caffeine, over 4,000% daily value of vitamin b12, 300% vitamin b3, and a couple more b vitamins in there as well. Unfortunately, the kick doesn't quite make up for the taste. It does do a pretty good job though as it lasts around 3 to maybe 4 hours. However, it did not help me through Conceptual Physics as I was still tired. Anyway, this review is really short so I am going to tell you what energy drink reviews are coming up soon. I am going to review Celsius Wild Berry, Venom Black Mamba, and Red Bull Energy Shot should get reviewed sometime in the near future. Ok, now I am going to give XS Peach Tea Blast a rating. I will give it a 7.7 out of 10.

REVIEW OF STARBUCKS DOUBLESHOT CINNAMON DULCE

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 146 MILLIGRAMS PER 15 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 8.6 OUT OF 10.

Almost all of us have been to a Starbucks and some of us have even ordered the Cinnamon Dulce. But what if Starbucks made an energy drink? What if one of their flavors was Cinnamon Dulce? Well, than you would have Starbucks Doubleshot Cinnamon Dulce. There are a lot of coffee based energy drinks out there such as Monster Java, Rockstar Roasted, and Starbucks Doubleshot. Starbucks Doubleshot differs from Monster Java and Rockstar Roasted because the coffee flavor is much more noticeable. It isn't just coffee flavored milk. It is richer and a delicious aftertaste of iced coffee lingers for a while. It might not be Cinnamon Dulce, but it certainly is delicious. Starbucks Doubleshot also has some key energy enhancing ingredients such as 2,000 milligrams of maltodextrin, 1,800 milligrams of taurine, 450 milligrams of l-carnitine, 180 milligrams of inositol, 325 milligrams of panax ginseng, and 90 milligrams of guarana. The caffeine content is not listed on the can but energyfiend.com tells us that it has 146 milligrams per 15 ounce can. The kick is also pretty good. It works fast and lasts for a pretty long time. Once again I took it before school started and once again it got me through my tougher classes. To conclude, Starbucks Doubleshot Cinnamon Dulce tastes great, has a good energy list and delivers a nice kick. Rating? 8.6 out of 10.

REVIEW OF EUPHORIC POMEGRANATE PASSION FRUIT

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 140 MILLIGRAMS PER 16 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 7.1 OUT OF 10.

I can not believe I found this drink and guess where I found it? Go ahead, guess. Nope, you're wrong. I got it at D and W Fresh Market. After some thought, I decided to try the pomegranate passion fruit flavor. So, this thing tastes just okay as it has an interesting yet dull infusion of passion fruit and pomegranate. This drink also gives you cottonmouth otherwise known as an oral dryness. I actually had a hard time finish all 16 ounces. So, what is in Euphoric Pomegranate Passion Fruit? Well there is 140 milligrams of caffeine, 1,200 milligrams of taurine, 50 milligrams of ginseng extract, 80 milligrams of damiana leaf extract, 160 milligrams of inositol, 60 milligrams of maca root extract, 100 milligrams of suma root extract and 5 micrograms of vitamin b12. All in all, that is a 1,790 milligram energy blend which isn't too bad. The kick I got from this was pretty good but not amazing. It helped me get through Conceptual Physics and less excited classes such as Sophomore English. Overall, this drink isn't too bad. Sure the taste is dull but it has a pretty good energy blend and the kick almost makes up for the taste. Rating? 7.1 out of 10.

REVIEW OF MONSTER LO-CARB

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 160 MILLIGRAMS PER 16 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 7.8 OUT OF 10

It has been 2 months since I "Unleashed the Beast" and had a Monster. With this review of Monster Lo-Carb, I will have tried all 6 original flavors. In case you didn't know, the original flavors are as follows: Monster, Monster Khaos, Monster M-80, Monster Mixxd, Monster Assault, and Monster Lo-Carb. I really wanted to get a feel for what this tasted like so upon opening it, I closed my eyes, concentrated hard, and took a sip. Monster Lo-Carb is definitely better than the original Monster as it is not as syrupy or gummy. The flavor is best described as an apple-candy like flavor with subtle hints of grape and citrus. There is also much less sourness than original Monster which I like. I can't really see why people drink original Monster, but I can why some people choose this. It is much better. So, what is in Monster Lo-Carb? Well, you have 3.4 milligrams of riboflavin, 40 milligrams of niacin, 4 milligrams of vitamin b6, 12 micrograms of vitamin b12, 360 milligrams of sodium, 2,000 milligrams of taurine, 400 milligrams of panax ginseng, and a 2,500 milligram energy blend consisting of l-carnitine, glucose, caffeine, guarana, inositol, glucuronolactone, and maltodextrin. Not to mention only 20 calories, 6 grams of carbohydrates, and 6 grams of sugar. The caffeine content is rated at 160 milligrams per 16 ounce can. Now we can finally move on to the kick. Monster Lo-Carb is one of those drinks where I just don't get a good kick out of. They are the kind of energy drinks that taste good and sweet but don't give you a whole lot of energy. The kick I got lasted about 3 or 4 hours and it had a modest energy level. This would be a great drink to just sip on and hang out with friends. So, Monster Lo-Carb has a nice, sweet, citrus taste, a moderate kick, and a lot of energy enhancing ingredients. Rating? 7.8 out of 10.

REVIEW OF XS ROOTBEER BLAST CAFFEINE FREE

CAFFEINE CONTENT: CAFFEINE FREE!

RATING: 8.4 OUT OF 10.

No need to worry about this keeping you awake at night, this next one is caffeine free. That's right, XS makes caffeine free drinks and the first caffeine free drink I am reviewing is Rootbeer Blast. I already reviewed XS Rootbeer Blast a short while ago and I loved the taste. I can say the exact same for the caffeine free version although it was a little on the flat side. Maybe I had a bad can but still the taste was great. I already said that this is caffeine free so how can it make you energized when it doesn't have caffeine? The answer is a potent blend of b vitamins. But just how much b vitamins? Well you get 100% daily value of vitamin b3, 100% daily value of vitamin b5, 300% daily value of vitamin b6, and 4,900% daily value of vitamin b12. The kick, for being caffeine free, was not bad. This is the kind of drink that you would wanna take before you go on a long run at night....or day. The real reason XS makes caffeine free drinks is the same reason 5 Hour Energy makes a caffeine free drink. It's because some people want energy but they are sensitive to caffeine. That is where XS comes in. XS Rootbeer Blast Caffeine Free has no caffeine, a nice amount of b vitamins, and taurine. I do like my caffeine but these caffeine free drinks are starting to catch my interest. I will review more caffeine free drinks in the future. Until then, XS Rootbeer Blast Caffeine Free gets an 8.4 out of 10.

REVIEW OF XS WILD BERRY BLAST

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 83 MILLIGRAMS PER 8.3 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 8.8 OUT OF 10.

This is a brand new flavor of XS Energy Drink. I wasn't quite sure how XS Wild Berry Blast would taste because it had the name Wild Berry which typically means it will have an exotic, berry-like flavor that is nearly impossible to describe. That was not the case with XS Wild Berry Blast as I got a delicious blend of blueberry and pomegranate along with other fruit juices. I am not sure if pomegranate is one of the juices they used but I tasted pomegranate nonetheless. Anyway, XS Wild Berry Blast has 83 milligrams of good ol' caffeine along with taurine, panax ginseng, and some adaptogenic herbs. XS usually doesn't let me down as far as kick goes and this one didn't fail. I had XS Wild Berry Blast on the way to school and it helped me get through my first hour which happens to be Conceptual Physics. By the time I got to United States History and Geography, my fourth hour class, the kick had worn off but my natural energy took over and got me through the rest of my school day. XS Wild Berry Blast is quite a nice beverage and I would thoroughly enjoy taking this before a nice, long run through a trail. XS Wild Berry Blast gets an 8.8 out of 10.

REVIEW OF VERVE SUGAR FREE

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 80 MILLIGRAMS PER 8.3 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 8 OUT OF 10.

Ok, this is my review of Verve Sugar Free. When I reviewed the original Verve I had massive problems trying to figure out the taste but this time I really concentrated on what it tasted like. To me, Verve Sugar Free tasted a bit like a very carbonated carrot juice and it had a "healthy" taste to it. It was very unique and very carbonated but also surprisingly tasty. Any Verve Sugar Free didn't taste much different much the original. Verve Sugar Free markets themselves as the insanely healthy energy drink. So it has tons of vitamins, 1,000 milligrams of taurine, 200 milligrams of guarana seed extract which yields 80 milligrams of caffeine, 50 milligrams of inositol, along with a plethora of amino acids and minerals. The energy I got from Verve Sugar Free was surprising. It was rather nice and it woke me up for first hour and it lasted until around 4th hour. So I had plenty of energy to get through some of my tougher classes like Conceptual Physics. I sometimes like to compare drinks like these to Red Bull because they are the same size can but Verve Sugar Free is far from being a Red Bull Clone. Nonetheless, Verve Sugar Free kicks the crap out of Red Bull in both taste and kick. I have never been a fan of the ever-so-popular energy drink and I only gave it a 6 out of 10 on this blog. So, to conclude, Verve Sugar Free gets an 8 out of 10.

REVIEW OF BAWLS GUARANA EXXTRA

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 150 MILLIGRAMS PER 16 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 8.1 OUT OF 10.

So it appears that this is my 80th review. Ok Bawls Guarana Exxtra is basically sugar free Bawls Guarana with 50 percent more caffeine. So the caffeine total is jacked up from 100 milligrams to 150 milligrams. I downed the entire 16 ounce can and I still could not figure out the taste. It was sort of citrusy and had hints of vanilla. But on the other hand it tasted a bit like club soda. So, the taste is kinda hard to describe but it is certainly delicious. The downside about Bawls Guarana Exxtra is that there is no taurine, no glucuronolactone, no gingko biloba, no yerba mate, no ginseg, no inositol, no anything. Anything except guarana and caffeine that is. Like I mentioned before, Bawls Guarana Exxtra has 50 percent more caffeine than regular Bawls so the total caffeine content is 150 milligrams. I had Bawls Guarana Exxtra during 4th hour at school and it helped me get through the remainder of the day. I wouldn't say that it is amazing but I could certainly feel it. It lasts for around 3 or 4 hours. Since this review is really short I am going to tell you some of the upcoming drinks I will review. Be on the lookout for reviews of Who's Your Daddy Energy Shot, Verve Sugar Free, Pit Bull Cookie Dough and Pit Bull Pomegranate Raspberry. Ok time to give Bawls Guarana Exxtra a rating. I will give it an 8.1 out of 10.

REVIEW OF PIT BULL PEANUT CARAMEL CRUNCH

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 164 MILLIGRAMS PER BAR.

RATING: 8.4 OUT OF 10.

So it looks like I am only 1 or 2 reviews away from having a total of 80 reviews. Anyway the product that I am going to review today is called Pit Bull Peanut Caramel Crunch. In case you don't know, Pit Bull is an energy bar with caffeine, taurine, guarana, ginseng, and b vitamins. Not only is it a true energy bar but it also tastes good as well. I am not going to write a whole lot about the taste because the name sort of describes the taste. However I forgot to mention that it is covered in chocolate. It sort of reminded me of a flattened out Snickers bar only not quite as good tasting. So it looks like Pit Bull Peanut Caramel Crunch has 21.1 milligrams of niacin, 5 milligrams of vitamin b6, 6 micrograms of vitamin b12, 5.1 milligrams of pantothenic acid, 1,000 milligrams of taurine, 164 milligrams of caffeine, 112 milligrams of guarana seed, 100 milligrams of inositol and 50 milligrams of ginseng root. Not a bad energy list and it definitely did the trick. I had the bar on the way to school and I was focused and alert throughout the whole day. I would totally recommend a Pit Bull Energy Bar over a Clif Energy Bar any day. For more information on Pit Bull Energy Bar click here. Otherwise it gets an 8.4 out of 10.

REVIEW OF BUMP

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 197 MILLIGRAMS PER 10.5 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 6.8 OUT OF 10.

For my 78th review I will be reviewing Bump. Bump describes their flavor as a lightly carbonated fusion of Pomegranate and refreshing Citrus flavors. I didn't taste any citrus but I did taste a rather sour Pomegranate flavor. It's almost a little too sour and it was difficult to finish the last 2 or 3 ounces. I am fairly certain that I would pass up the offer to drink another one of these drinks. So, Bump isn't the best tasting energy drink out there but what's in it? Well it has 26 milligrams of niacin, 26 milligrams of vitamin b6, 328 micrograms of vitamin b12, 13 milligrams of pantothenic acid, 1,312 milligrams of taurine, 328 milligrams of l-arginine, 197 milligrams of caffeine, 131 milligrams of green tea extract, 33 milligrams of acetyl-l-carnitine, 33 milligrams of glucuronolactone, and finally 33 milligrams of inositol. That is a whopping 11 energy enhancing ingredients. However, this drink does have two incredible facts. And by incredible, I mean bad. Just one 10.5 ounce can of Bump has 240 calories and a whopping 53 grams of sugar! So, this is one of the most unhealthy energy drinks I have seen but how is the kick? Well, for having 197 milligrams of caffeine in just 10.5 ounces (18.76 milligrams of caffeine per ounce) it isn't "oh my god I am bouncing off the walls" but it is pretty good. There is one thing I do not recommend doing after you have consumed Bump: Workout. I was literally jogging for 5 minutes when I felt my heart and it was beating pretty fast. So, Bump tastes too sour, has 11 energy enhancing ingredients, is one of the most unhealthy energy drinks I have reviewed (not that it matters) and you can not workout after having one. But it has a nice kick though. Rating? 6.8 out of 10.

REVIEW OF PIT BULL DOUBLE MOCHA CRISP

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 164 MILLIGRAMS PER BAR.

RATING: 8.7 OUT OF 10!

Some time ago I requested samples of Pit Bull Energy Bar. A few days ago I finally got samples and I couldn't wait to give them a try. They sent me several flavors but the one I tried first was double mocha crisp. When I took my first bite I was surprised how good it tasted. It was nice and crispy with a mocha flavored chocolate coating. Pit Bull markets themselves as the "real energy bar" and I agree. It has 21.1 milligrams of niacin, 5 milligrams of vitamin b6, 6 micrograms of vitamin b12, 5.1 milligrams of pantothenic acid, 160 milligrams of potassium, 1,000 milligrams of taurine, 164 milligrams of caffeine, 112 milligrams of guarana seed, 100 milligrams of inositol, and finally 50 milligrams of ginseng. As far as kick goes, you can kiss Clif Bars goodbye. This thing does a great job waking you up and the energy level lasts a pretty long time. And I forgot to mention that each bar has 13 grams of protein and a healthy 7 grams of fiber. If you are sick of other energy bars because they don't have the energy ingredients that normal energy enhancing products have then look no further than Pit Bull Energy Bar. Rating? 8.7 out of 10.

REVIEW OF BUZZ BITES

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 100 MILLIGRAMS PER CHEW.

RATING: 7.6 OUT OF 10.

Buzz Bites come from a company called Vroom Foods, the same company that makes Foosh Energy Mints. So, I decided to pop one of these bad boys on the way to school. It didn't exactly taste like a tootsie roll. It was more like the fake tasting chocolate that you get in protein bars. And it had an odd aftertaste as well. So, unfortunately, Buzz Bites weren't the greatest chewy chocolates I have had but what is in them that makes you energized? Well there is tuarine, ginseng, b vitamins and about the same amount of caffeine as a cup of coffee. So, I would definitely say that Buzz Bites did perk me up a little but not as much as Foosh Energy Mints. Now that is probably because I have a bit of a cold so you have to take that into consideration. I did not get tired in the morning and the energy level lasts about 4 hours. The overall energy level would be rated as average, or moderate, but definitely not extreme. Buzz Bites gets a 7.6 out of 10. If you can't decide whether to try Buzz Bites or Foosh Energy Mints, my advice would be to get the Foosh Energy Mints.

REVIEW OF LIQUID LIGHTNING SUGAR FREE

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 104 MILLIGRAMS PER 8.4 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 6.1 OUT OF 10.

For my next review, I will be reviewing a drink called Liquid Lightning Sugar Free. Liquid Lightning is one of those drinks that looks like a Red Bull clone but isn't. It has the generic name, the small 250 milliliter can, and the somewhat-basic design. Liquid Lightning Sugar Free tasted pretty decent but it wasn't amazing by any means. It was a berry flavor mixed with Red Bull and it gives you a sticky mouth feeling. So, It tasted decent but what's in it? Well, it has 125 milligrams of vitamin c, 1 milligram of vitamin b2, 34 milligrams of vitamin b3, 9 milligrams of vitamin b6, 26 micrograms of vitamin b12, 10 milligrams of vitamin b5, 104 milligrams of caffeine, and a proprietary blend consisting of tuarine, glucuronolactone, ribose, inositol, panax ginseng extract, and potassium citrate. Not a bad list but it could be better. Liquid Lightning Sugar Free delivered a pretty decent kick but nothing major. It lasted for maybe 2 hours and 30 minutes. Overall I am giving Liquid Lightning Sugar Free a rating of 6.1 out of 10. Sorry for the really short review but I didn't have much to say about this drink.

REVIEW OF XS ELECTRIC LEMON BLAST

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 83 MILLIGRAMS PER 8.4 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 8.2 OUT OF 10.

Without a single doubt in my mind XS is one of the best energy drink companies out there. The flavor I am reviewing today is Electric Lemon Blast. I could not wait to try this because my brother said it tasted really good. He was right as I got a nice carbonated lemonade that was a bit sour (which is good because it's lemon flavor) and tart. This was not quite as good as the XS Rootbeer which was so delicious I had to buy a 12 pack. XS Electric Lemon not only tastes good, it also gives you a nice kick. But, what's in it? XS Electric Lemon has 100% daily value of vitamin b3, 100% daily value of vitamin b5, 300% daily value of vitamin b6 and a whopping 4,900% daily value of vitamin b12. However, b vitamins is not the only area in which XS Electric Lemon excels in. It also has 7 adaptogenic herbs including eleutherococcus senticosus, panax ginseng, and schisandra. XS Electric Lemon has approximately the same amount of caffeine as a 6 ounce cup of brewed coffee. The kick was well received with XS Electric Lemon. It was very smooth and I did not get jittery. XS is clearly a high quality brand of energy drinks. If you like, you can order a 12 pack here for just $26.88. Oh and by the way, XS Electric Lemon gets an 8.2 out of 10.

REVIEW OF CRAKSHOT

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 140 MILLIGRAMS PER 2 OUNCE BOTTLE.

RATING: 7.2 OUT OF 10.

I know what your thinking. Crakshot. This is another one of those legal drinks that mock illegal drugs right? Wrong. Crak is actually an acronym that stands for Classic Rock Art Kulture. There are no references to the cocaine or any other drug besides caffeine. Now, Crakshot tells me that there energy shot tastes good. Obviously I didn't think that it would taste amazing. That is next to impossible for an energy shot. However, when I slammed Crakshot I got a sweet and tart lemonade flavor that wasn't all bad. In fact I consider Crakshot the best tasting energy shot I have had so far. This is the part that might take awhile. I am going to tell you the energy enhancing ingredients that are in Crakshot. It contains 20 milligrams of niacin, 42 milligrams of vitamin b6, 100% daily value of folic acid, 8,500% daily value of vitamin b12, 300 milligrams of taurine, 500 milligrams of glucuronolactone, 60 milligrams of malic acid, 1 milligram of n-acetyl-l-tyrosine. There is also an enzyme blend which consists of amylase, protease, lipase, cellulase, and lactase. As far as caffeine content goes, there is 70 milligrams of caffeine and 700 milligrams of guarana seed extract which adds up to be 14o milligrams of total caffeine. In my honest opinion, I believe that a great way to test the ability of an energy drink or shot is through school. Why? Because in school you need to be focused, bright, and alert. And is exactly what energy drinks and shots want to provide. So, did it work? Well, I got a modest kick that lasted about 4 hours and it took awhile to kick in. Overall I give Crakshot a rating of 7.2 out of 10. It tasted good but didn't give me the boost I needed.

REVIEW OF BAWLS GUARANA CHERRY

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 100 MILLIGRAMS PER 16 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 6.8 OUT OF 10.

This is definitely one of the most anticipated reviews on my blog. After receiving this from Connor Ross from alittlebitofthisthatandthose.blogspot.com I will finally get to review Bawls Guarana. And not just any Bawls Guarana, I get to review the cherry flavored Bawls. I also received the Bawls Guarana EXXTRA from Connor so look for that review later down the road. I was very excited about reviewing this because I have heard from other top review sites that it is one of the best tasting mass-marketed energy drinks out there. And were they right? Well, It did taste pretty good but at the same time, it didn't really taste like anything. It was like club soda with sugar and a hint of cherry flavor. Yes it tastes good but I thought it would be more like a Cherry 7up or something like that. Another reason why I couldn't wait to review Bawls was because energy-drink-ratings.blogspot.com, one of the best review sites, gave this drink a 9 out of 10 for kick. Unfortunately that was not the case for me. I had a very minor kick which was accompanied with a hard crash. Now, this does shock me a bit because Bawls Guarana Cherry contains 100 milligrams of caffeine. But the caffeine comes from Guarana which is 2-3 times stronger than the caffeine you get from coffee or soda. So it's like having 200-300 milligrams of caffeine instead of just 100 milligrams of caffeine. And that is all Bawls Guarana has: Caffeine. There is no taurine, no ginseng, no gingko biloba, no yerba mate and no b vitamins. Well, I guess I should conclude by giving Bawls Guarana Cherry a 6.8 out of 10. It tasted good but had no kick.

REVIEW OF SEA20

CAFFEINE CONTENT: DOES NOT CONTAIN CAFFEINE.

RATING: 8.1 OUT OF 10.

Before I get started on my review of Sea20 I would like to point out that the name of the drink is pronounced sea-two-oh and not sea-twenty. With that being said let's begin my review. Sea20 is an all organic energy drink that does not contain any caffeine. It is sweetened with agave nectar and it is the best tasting energy drink I have had in quite awhile. It tasted a little bit like iced tea but the agave nectar is what made it. It was so sweet, light and refreshing. And as an added bonus it was non-carbonated so it was easy to chug. I mentioned before that Sea20 did not contain any caffeine but that is not the only thing it doesn't contain. It does not contain taurine, guarana, ginseng, gingko biloba or even yerba mate. What it does contain is 32 grams of carbohydrates, 32 grams of sugar, 126 milligrams of vitamin c and .72 milligrams of vitamin b6. Quite a sad blend if you ask me and they say it is powerful. Is that statement true? not exactly. The kick I got from it was decent but nothing I would call powerful. It lasted roughly 3 hours and there was no crash. To conclude, Sea20 tasted unbelievably incredible and the kick was not all bad. I will give this drink an 8.1 out of 10.

REVIEW OF PURE FUEL

CAFFEINE CONTENT: HIDDEN IN ENERGY BLEND.

RATING: 9 OUT OF 10!

It is a beautiful Saturday here in my hometown and what better way to enjoy a great Saturday than with an energy drink. That specific energy drink is Pure Fuel by Twinlab. Pure Fuel comes in a 12 ounce black and red can and has no carbohydrates, no fat, no sugar, and no calories. I thought it would taste bad because of the sucralose but I stand corrected. It tasted pretty darn good but I didn't know what it tasted like. I thought I tasted Diet lemon-lime soda but I also tasted a hint of cherry and orange. But like I said before, this is a drink worth trying. So, Pure Fuel gets its energy from a 365 milligram energy blend consisting of guarana seed extract, caffeine, tuarine, american ginseng root extract, eleutherococcus senticosus root extract, green tea leaf extract, and gingko biloba leaf extract. Unfortunately none of the amounts are given so I don't know how much caffeine it has. But based on the fact that it has a 365 milligram energy blend and caffeine is second in that blend it probably has around 60-80 milligrams of caffeine per 12 ounce can, maybe more. Whatever the caffeine amount is, this thing surely does a good job. I was pretty energized for 3 to 5 hours and it may have helped me beat my best split time on an ergometer. So, to rightfully conclude I am giving Pure Fuel a rating of 9 out of 10.

REVIEW OF NOS GRAPE

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 357 MILLIGRAMS OF CAFFEINE PER 22 OUNCE BOTTLE.

RATING: 6.2 OUT OF 10

Yesterday I had a NOS Grape and never had time to review it so today I am ready for the review so let's get started. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the 16 ounce version so I just picked up the 22 ounce version and drank that instead. NOS Grape is supposed to tastes like, well, grape but that's not what it tasted like. I couldn't really pinpoint the taste but I got hints of grape along with a bit of a medicinal flavor. It also had a very strong smell to it as well. So, if you happen to be drinking a NOS Grape, feel free to chime in the comment section below and tell me what you think it tasted like. Anyway, NOS Grape gets its boost from 2,750 milligrams of taurine, 550 milligrams of l-carnitine, 357 milligrams of caffeine, 274 milligrams of inositol, and 136 milligrams of panax ginseng. Man, what a sick blend but its a shame it didn't give me any energy. That's right I said it. I felt hardly any kick from NOS which is really weird because this is the most caffeine I have had in an energy drink. Oh well, it happens. In conclusion, NOS had a pretty decent taste, a sick energy blend, but hardly any effect. Rating? 6.2 out of 10.

REVIEW OF AMP GREEN TEA

Courtesy of Amp Energy
CAFFEINE CONTENT: 156 MILLIGRAMS PER 16 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 9.3 OUT OF 10!

Well, Amp has recently come out with two new flavors: Amp Black Tea and Amp Green Tea. The one I will be reviewing today is Amp Green Tea. Every Amp Energy Drink contains a special ingredient that is unique to the rest of the line-up. Amp Green Tea's special ingredients are Beta-Alanine and Antioxidants. Ok so I cracked this bad boy open when I was on my way to the country club. I thought it tasted a little weird at first but then the taste grew on me and it started tasting really good. I tasted the original Amp flavor with subtle hits of delicious green tea. Very good, my whole family was impressed with it in fact. Ok, so I can't give you the amounts on all the energy ingredients because I threw away the can at the country club. That would also explain why the picture is not one I took myself. Anyhow, Amp Green Tea has green tea extract, tuarine, b vitamins, 156 milligrams of caffeine. The usual basically. So, as far as kick, Amp has never let me down and this on didn't fail. It was a hectic day and my cousins came over. I had plenty of energy to play basketball, play catch, run around, you name it. Amp Green Tea is most excellent and I can't wait to review Amp Black Tea. Rating? A hefty 9.3 out of 10.

REVIEW OF ARCHER FARMS TROPICAL

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 70 MILLIGRAMS PER 12 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 7.6 OUT OF 10.

Archer Farms is Target's private label and from what I hear, they have an energy drink so I went to target and picked up a can for $1.79. The flavor I picked up was Tropical which is a mix of mango, peach, pineapple, and pear juices. To me, it tasted like carbonated pineapple juice with some hints of mango. Actually, I wasn't the biggest fan of Archer Farms Tropical but if you love pineapple juice, give this drink a try. I am not saying the drink tasted bad, I am simply saying that I have had energy drinks that taste better than this. So, per each 12 ounce can you get 70 milligrams of caffeine, 90 milligrams of panax ginseng root extract, and 10 milligrams of tuarine along with a healthy amount of vitamins. I really like how Archer Farms is taking a healthy approach to energy drinks. It even has 40 percent real fruit juices! But enough dilly dally onto the kick. Well, it perked up a little but nothing major. Then again, it only has 70 milligrams of caffeine which is the same of a Vault. However, Archer Farms is more of a health energy drink than a full out energy drink. And that is where Archer Farms shines the most: healthy. It gives you a lot of vitamins with none of those ridiculous amounts of vitamin b12 like some drinks have. Unfortunately, Archer Farms does have its weaknesses to go along with its strengths. And that's why it gets a 7.6 out of 10.

REVIEW OF CRAVE

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 160 MILLIGRAMS PER PACKET.

RATING: 9.4 OUT OF 10!!!

2 days ago, I received 2 packets of Crave Energy Mix from an independent representative for Vitamark. So, in order to consume Crave properly, you must mix the contents of the packet with a 16 oz bottle of water. I didn't have a 16 oz bottle of water, but I had a 16.9 ounce bottle instead, so I just took a sip and made it 16 ounces. I then proceeded to mix the entire contents of the packet. You need to let the mix dissolve for a few minutes otherwise you get these clumps at the bottom. When I first tasted Crave I got delicious, refreshing lime taste with an artificial sweetener taste as well. Quite good if you ask me. So what makes Crave tick? Well, per packet is has 1,000 milligrams of taurine, 240 milligrams of guarana, 160 milligrams of caffeine, 100 milligrams of kolanut extract, and 70 milligrams of inositol along with some vitamins as well. Man, I haven't had a rush from 160 milligrams of caffeine like this in a long time. The energy came in 5 minutes and it lasts for 4 to 5 hours and it is big. Overall, I give this drink a 9.4 out of 10. It had great taste and a phenomenal kick. This is definitely going on my Best Energy Drink List. If you wanna purchase some packets of Crave simply go to EnergyDrinkRevolution.info

REVIEW OF XS CITRUS BLAST.

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 83 MILLIGRAMS PER 8.4 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 8.2 OUT OF 10

For my 65th review, I will be reviewing XS Citrus Blast. As of 2007, XS is the 2nd best selling energy drink quantity wise. They do not sell XS in single cans but you can get a 12 pack for $23.88 which comes out to about $1.99 a can. Anyway, according to the drinks website, Citrus Blast is a mixture of orange, lemon, and lime. I immediately thought that I was going to taste a flavor eerily similar to lemon-lime soda with just a hint of orange. As it turns out, I was right. It tastes like a lemon-lime soda with just a hint of orange. There is, however, a slight aftertaste caused by the artificial sweeteners in this drink but it's not bad at all. So, with XS Citrus Blast you get tons of B vitamins, some amino acids, and 83 milligrams of good ol' caffeine. The kick that XS delivers is comparable to that of a strong cup of coffee. I got a mid-level energy rush that lasted about 3 to 4 hours. Not bad for a drink that's only 8.4 ounces. And if you are wondering if XS is better than Red Bull, than wonder no more. XS is a ton better than Red Bull in taste and kick. So, to conclude I will give XS an 8.2 out of 10 for exceptional taste and a pretty good kick.

REVIEW OF XS ROOTBEER BLAST

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 83 MILLIGRAMS PER 8.4 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 8.6 OUT OF 10!

Rootbeer Blast is the 5th flavor of XS that I have reviewed. As far as taste goes, this is exceptionally good. Obviously the flavor is self explanatory: it tastes like Rootbeer but with a tiny bit of aspartame flavor because all the XS Energy Drinks have no sugar and only a few carbs. Anyway, XS Rootbeer Blast also packs quite a nice little wallop to go with the sensational taste. With this little 8.4 ounce can you get 83 milligrams of caffeine as well as a crap load of B vitamins including 4,900% Daily Value of B12. Sweet! I would probably compare the kick to a cup of coffee and the large amounts of B vitamins make it last about 3 hours. So, with XS Rootbeer Blast, you can have the best of both worlds: kick and taste. To rightfully conclude I am giving XS Rootbeer Blast an 8.6 out of 10 because the kick was good but not great but I still thoroughly enjoyed having this drink. I may even get a 12 pack of these babies. Hopefully I can get a discounted price otherwise I have to pay $23.88 for it which is $1.99 a can. As for you, the reader, what are you waiting for? Go and order a 12 pack today!

REVIEW OF 24:7

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 160 MILLIGRAMS PER 16 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 7.9 OUT OF 10.

While I was surfing the Internet I noticed an energy drink called 24:7 and I wondered where I could find it. As it turns out, this drink is sold exclusively at Walgreens and you can get for around 2 dollars. 24:7 has the most basic can I have ever seen. The only things that are on the can are the name, the nutrition facts, and the ingredients. I cracked open the green and black can and got a whiff of Red Bull. Yep, it's a Red Bull clone but it also has somewhat of a sweet tart type flavor. Not a very unique drink but nonetheless it did taste pretty good. So, the energy ingredients include 160 milligrams of caffeine, 2,000 milligrams of taurine, glucoronolactone, and vitamin b3. The drink does not list the amount of taurine on the can but since it is a generic brand I would guess that it would have around 2,000 milligrams. The caffeine content is also not listed on the can but energyfiend.com says it has 160 milligrams of it. Anyway, 24:7 takes a long time to kick it, but when it does, it ain't bad, it's actually pretty good. So, I had a pleasant experience with 24:7 and I expect to review more flavors in the future so stay tuned. Rating? 7.9 out of 10 because I could live without the Red Bull and sweet tart flavor.

REVIEW OF AMP TRACTION

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 160 MILLIGRAMS PER 16 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 8.3 OUT OF 10.

While I was at the local Meijer, I couldn't resist picking out an energy drink for me to try. The energy drink that I tried is called AMP Traction. AMP Traction is basically the grape flavored AMP and my friend once described the taste as if someone took a grape slushy and melted it into a liquid and then dumped a pound of sugar on it. I would have to disagree with my friend because I thought it tasted like grape soda but a little bit more sweet and it gives you a cotton mouth. Pretty good if you ask me, and so far, AMP has produced the best tasting energy drinks in my opinion. So, what makes AMP Traction tick? Well, it's got 3.4 milligrams of riboflavin, 40 milligrams of niacin, 20 milligrams of pantothenic acid, 40 milligrams of phosphorous, 140 milligrams of sodium, 296 milligrams of taurine, 292 milligrams of maltodextrin, 248 milligrams of guarana seed extract, 160 milligrams of caffeine, 144 milligrams of d-ribose, and finally 34 milligrams of panax ginseng extract. That is a total of 11 energy enhancing ingredients all tying in to make a nice eye-opener. This drink doesn't make you hyper but it wakes you up a lot and it keeps it energy level up for a while. I'm not sure if I will get any sleep tonight. Oh well, AMP Traction gets an 8.3 out of 10.

REVIEW OF JITTERBEANS

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 600 MILLIGRAMS PER 1.40 OUNCE BOX.

RATING: 8.6 OUT OF 10.

What a name, huh? Jitterbeans are the same thing as Crackheads 2 except with a different name. Since Jitterbeans contain 600 milligrams of caffeine per box I couldn't the whole box at once so I settled for 350 milligrams of caffeine or about 14 beans. I noticed that the beans were bigger than the original Crackheads but they still had the same chocolate coating, just thicker. So, Jitterbeans taste just like regular Crackheads only a bit more chocolaty and sweet. You can hardly taste the bitterness from the coffee bean and the thicker chocolate coating is what makes it taste so good. Ok, so Jitterbeans have 600 milligrams of caffeine per box which is the most caffeine ever produced in a product. As a matter of fact, the only drink that comes close is Wired X505 with 505 milligrams of caffeine, 95 less than Jitterbeans. However, I only had 350 milligrams of caffeine worth of Jitterbeans and just like the normal Crackheads, I couldn't resist eating them in the morning. So, 350 milligrams of caffeine is a lot and it certainly did its job. It didn't make me hyper but it kept me awake and I wasn't drowsy at all like I usually am in the morning. So, all things considered, I give Jitterbeans an 8.6 out of 10. They taste great and they are loaded to the max with caffeine but the energy level isn't amazing. But it is pretty good.

REVIEW OF CRACKHEADS

Courtesy of Crackheads
CAFFEINE CONTENT: 200 MILLIGRAMS PER 1.40 OUNCE BOX.

RATING: 8 OUT OF 10.

What's better, chocolate, or coffee? You can have both with Crackheads. Crackheads are basically chocolate covered coffee beans and they taste really good. You can definitely taste the rich coffee flavor and I could taste the difference between the white and milk chocolate. As a matter of fact, I took one Crackhead and sucked off all the chocolate and took it out of my mouth. Sure enough, it's a coffee bean and I had no idea you could eat these and they taste really good. Anyway, Crackheads have 200 milligrams of caffeine per 1.40 ounce box which is a lot of caffeine for a candy. So, did Crackheads wake me up a ton? No. But not to worry, because I had these in the morning and almost nothing gets me hyper in the morning. So, when I review Jitterbeans which are super caffeinated Crackheads, I will wait until the afternoon to try them. So, if you are reading this review, I suggest you forget about what I say about the energy level and go try some yourself. But, they sure do taste good. Ok, to conclude, I am giving Crackheads a break because nothing gets me hyper in the morning and they deserve some credit for making a candy with 200 milligrams of caffeine. Rating? 8 out of 10. They taste so freaking good!

REVIEW OF FOOSH

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 100 MILLIGRAMS OF CAFFEINE PER MINT.

RATING: 9 OUT OF 10.

Today, I got a free sample (73 mints) of Foosh Energy Mints and here I am now to review them, so let's get started. Foosh Energy Mints are about the size of my thumbnail and are pretty thick for a mint. As far as taste goes, this tastes just like any other mint except it's not as strong. It actually can be almost flavorless at times but that doesn't bother me at all. Each and every Foosh Energy Mint contains 100 milligrams of caffeine. No that's not a typo, there is 100 milligrams of caffeine in one mint! In fact, Foosh Energy Mints are the most caffeinated mints ever made and no other caffeinated mint even comes close. And to add to the energy, they've got taurine, ginseng, and B vitamins to go along with the 100 milligrams of caffeine. Ok, so I figured the best time to take a mint with that much caffeine would be before a good workout. And boy, what a workout it was....for me. I ran 2 miles and then immediately did some weights and finished strong. Not to mention I wasn't really tired until about 1.5 miles into the run. After my workout, I sat with my parents and eventually, my dad wanted to workout so I ended up doing another mile on the treadmill. I did the mile in 8 minutes and 32 seconds which is a record for me but I wasn't done yet. To finally end, I did a mile on a bike machine in just 3 minutes and 15 seconds. Ok, so far in this review there has been more talk about my workout than the actual product I am reviewing so I will sum up the review in a few words. Foosh Energy Mints get a 9 out of 10 because of there high caffeine content and helping me a lot with my workout. Congratulations Vroom Foods!

REVIEW OF NERD

CAFFEINE CONTENT: 120 MILLIGRAMS PER 12 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 8.2 OUT OF 10.

Yesterday, I got two four packs of Nerd Energy Drink shipped to me for free and today is the day I get to review them, so let's get started. Well, the taste of Nerd is somewhat hard to describe but I managed to put my finger on it. It is basically Mountain Dew meets green apple meets orange. So, it's pretty much a mix of orange, green apple, and Mountain Dew. And, it is lightly carbonated so when you chug it, your eyes water but it does not burn your throat. There is 10 energy and focus ingredients in nerd, and yes I will list them all: taurine, caffeine, glucuronolactone, guarana, inositol, L-carnitine, ginseng, vinpocetine, huperzine A, DMAE, and chinese gingko biloba. Quite a list if you ask me, and Nerd certainty gave me as much energy as I would expect from a 12 ounce beverage with 120 milligrams of caffeine. I would describe the kick to be good, but nothing over the top by any means. So, to conclude, Nerd tastes darn good, has some cool energy and focus ingredients and it has a good kick. Rating? 8.2 out of 10

REVIEW OF MONSTER MIXXD

Courtesy of Monster Energy
CAFFEINE CONTENT: 160 MILLIGRAMS PER 16 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 8 OUT OF 10.

While I was up north I happened to consume a Monster Mixxd and never got a chance to review it, so two days after consuming I am here to give my thought on Monster Mixxd. Judging by the ingredients, Monster Mixxd is supposed to taste like a mix between apple juice and grape juice. As it turns out, I was right, it did taste a lot like a mix between apple juice and grape juice. It was lightly carbonated so it was not to difficult to chug. So, what's in this Monster Mixxd? Well, you've basically got taurine, ginseng, guarana, caffeine, and some stuff I can't pronounce and don't feel like typing right now. Anyway, the kick I got from this was pretty good. This is probably the best Monster yet. And, I took it before I went Kayaking, so it that was a good way to test its kick. So, to conclude, I am giving Monster Mixxd a well-deserved 8 out of 10.

REVIEW OF GURU LITE

Courtesy of Guru Energy

CAFFEINE CONTENT: ABOUT 140 MILLIGRAMS PER 12 OUNCE CAN.

RATING: 7.5 OUT OF 10.

For my next review, I will be reviewing Guru Lite. Guru Lite is pretty much the same thing as regular Guru except is has only 10 calories per 8 ounce serving. It uses no artificial sweetener because it gets it's sweetness from a mere 2 grams of sugar per 8 ounce serving. I would have to say that Guru Lite was one of the best low calorie energy drinks I have ever tasted. Yes, it did taste a little artificial, but that didn't matter because it was quite refreshing. Guru Lite contains things like Gingko Biloba, Enchinacea, Stevia, Gaurana, and Ginseng as well as approximately 140 milligrams of caffeine per 12 ounce can. Not a bad amount of caffeine and it certainly perked me up a little but not enough to really get my motor running. Maybe if they made a high caffeine version with 50% more caffeine it would give me a big boost. But if you hate the sugary syrup that is an energy drink than I recommend you give Guru Lite a try. Rating? 7.5 out of 10.
